Wednesday, October 24 was a day of great fun and literacy building activities for the 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who participated in Edison's AR Kickoff. There were three stations-- Hangman, Scrabble, and Boggle-- manned by the enthusiastic City Year corps members that were extremely engaging and showed how exciting words can be. Mr. Valdes and Ms. Theodoris led the SmartBoard Base/Affix word creation games, and the teachers did read alouds with their kids.
